Our nourishing lash and brow cream dye is the result of our own recipe, formulated in partnership with revered industry experts and one of the world’s leading manufacturers. We opted for a blend of Rice Water, Hydrolysed Soy Protein, Niacinamide, and Coconut Oil. Why did we specifically choose these ingredients for our recipe? Let’s take a look:

Rice Water: According to St. Bernard, the benefits of applying rice water to the hair include “increased hair volume, better hair shine and appearance, stronger follicles, repair to cuticle damage, dandruff prevention and anti-inflammatory effects on the scalp.”

✅ Hydrolysed Soy Protein: Potent hydration and protective properties. Adds shine while improves the hairs’ ability to retain moisture.

✅ Niacinamide: Supports healthy hair regrowth while bringing more oxygen to the eyebrow and lash hair follicles. Keeps the hair lustrous, strong, and shiny.

✅ Coconut Oil: Easily absorbed by the hairs for deep moisturisation and defence against damage and protein loss.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

To use Boostific’s hybrid lash and brow tint on a client, we recommend mixing the dye in a metal-free paint mixing bowl. Work with a 1:1 ratio with our 3% creamy OxiBoost developer until you achieve a uniform consistency. Remember to patch-test on each client before coating the entire lash or brow area.

HOW LONG DOES THE HYBRID LASH AND BROW TINT LAST?

With proper prep work on the brows or lashes, you can expect the tint to last anywhere from 7-14 days on the skin and 4-6 weeks on the hairs themselves. However, it’s normal for results to vary from client to client. Certain skin types hold pigment better, while some experience fading sooner than others. Home aftercare also plays a key role in how long the dye will last.

WHAT IS THE CREAM DYE'S SHELF LIFE?

Unopened, you can safely store the tint for up to 12 months. Once opened, it should be usable for up to 6 months. Ensure proper storage to prolong shelf life as much as possible.

CAN I MIX COLOURS?

Absolutely. In fact, we strongly recommend you do so to achieve your client’s unique vision. We have a stunning range of 9 vibrant colours for you to mix and match. However, a word of caution: Only mix Boostific’s colour palette. Avoid bringing other brands into the mix.

CAN I USE A DEVELOPER FROM ANOTHER COMPANY?

We do not recommend this. Our creamy OxiBoost developer has been specially formulated by our partner specialists for use specifically with our own in-house dyes. We can’t tell you what would happen if you used a developer from a different brand, so it’s best to avoid that potential catastrophe.

CAN I USE YOUR DYE WITH MY BROW LAMINATION SYSTEM DURING THE SAME SESSION?

Absolutely. From our experience collaborating with a global collective of skilled manufacturers, we can confirm with confidence that our hybrid lash and brow cream dye can safely be used in unison with brow lamination without worrying about overtreating.

However, it’s imperative to follow the instructions carefully and start with the  lamination before cream dye, not after. You can further prevent adverse chemical reactions by only leaving the product on the brows for the maximum recommended length of time. Also, be sure to only perform lamination on brows that are visibly healthy.

DOES THE TINT CONTAIN PPD?

Yes. Our hybrid lash and brow tint does contain PPD (Paraphenylenediamine) in a very low percentage. This is why patch testing is mandatory before coating the entire brow area or lashes in the tint. In fact, it’s a legal necessity.

DOES THE TINT CONTAIN HENNA?

No. Our hybrid lash and brow tint is completely free from any henna.
